You need to be a member of the u3a to attend any of our Groups.

Members interested in attending any group should contact the Group Coordinator. You can use the email on the contacts page of this website.

Communication:

It is very important that members respond to Facilitators phone calls and e-mails. The Facilitator needs to know who and how many members will attend the meetings and other activities in order that they can arrange for the correct facilities.

Non-attendance where there is a waiting list:

Other than in exceptional circumstances, where a member fails to attend an Interest Group on three occasions, without informing the Group Facilitator, that person’s place could be offered to a member on the waiting list.

Cost Sharing

Groups will often meet at various locations and share cars, please be prepared to contribute between the passengers towards the cost of running the vehicle.

Many of the group meetings will be held in member’s homes and a contribution may be made to cover expenses, including tea and biscuits.
