This group is for anyone interested in collecting mainly UK coins, both current and pre-decimal.

We talk about and swap circulation coins and share information about what to look out for in our change.  Several 50ps are very rare and in high demand by collectors.

Many commemorative coins are minted but not released into circulation, so we can buy these as a group to reduce costs.

If you have anything unusual to show us, or just want to get an idea of how to start a collection, you are welcome to come along to our meetings.  New members always welcome.
