Hi Folks,

The next meeting will be on the 1^st September at 2 pm. The venue will be 59 Keswick Avenue, Hullbridge, unless otherwise notified. It is important that you let me know whether you will or will not be attending, so that I have an idea of numbers, as 10 is the maximum I can fit into my dining room.

The topic for this meeting is the November Exhibition in the Library, the subject being ”The River Crouch (from the Estuary to Battlesbridge)”, photos for which need to be submitted at the September meeting. As many images as possible please, and the 20 with the most votes from our Group will be exhibited.

The Question of how to present the Images was discussed at the August meeting. Roy has purchased a new Epson Printer and suggested that he can produce prints cheaper than using Phoenix Photography in Rayleigh.  Roy produced a sample A4 Print which was inspected by the members and it was agreed that the standard was suitable for the display in the Library.  It was also agreed that the images would be A4 in size mounted on an A3 size White Card similar to previous displays.  As previously, members will be expected to contribute to the printing and mounting costs of the photos chosen.
